Emmanuella Mazile is the choir director at South Junior High in the Boise School District. Previously, she was the choir director at Lowell Scott Middle School in West Ada School District. She supervised and conducted weekly district-wide collaborations for all middle school choir directors, as a PLC facilitator. She was also an integral part of the district’s music curriculum writing team for both middle school choir and general music. Emmanuella has mentored first-year teachers, judged solo and ensemble festivals, as well as district choral festivals. She has been involved in Idaho ACDA for over 10 years, and is now serving as Membership Chair and Junior High/Middle School Repertoire & Standards Chair.
Emmanuella Mazile received her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Music Education from the University of Idaho and recently received her Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Trauma and Resilience from Concordia University-Nebraska.
