
Annie Stanger is the Director of Choirs at Snoqualmie Middle School in Snoqualmie, Washington, where she is in her seventh year of teaching. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Gonzaga University in 2019, studying under the direction of Dr. Timothy Westerhaus.
An active member of the Northwestern choral community, Annie serves as an adjudicator for regional choir festivals and solo and ensemble competitions, and is frequently invited to guest conduct regional and state-level honor choirs. Her recent conducting engagements include the 2024 Kenai Peninsula Borough School District Middle School Mass Choir in Kenai, Alaska, the 2024 Lower Columbia Middle School Honor Choir in Vancouver, Washington, and the 2025 Lake Washington School District Middle School Honor Choir in Kirkland, Washington.
Annie was named the Outstanding Emerging Choir Director by the Washington State chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) in the summer of 2024. She currently serves as Honor Choir Chair for the Northwestern ACDA and performs as a singing member of both Choral Arts Northwest and the Wellspring Ensemble.
