IDACDA presents the 2026 All-State Honor Choirs for Elementary singers in the Treasure Valley (site location TBA) on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

What is All-State?
Every year, the American Choral Directors Association sponsors an Elementary All-State Honor Choir. This year, the Honor Choir is being held the Treasure Valley, the exact site location will be announced in the future.
This is a great opportunity for our young singers to have an honor choir experience and get the chance to sing in a large choir, under the direction of a nationally known clinician.
What is the time commitment for singers?
The Elementary Honor Choir will be a one-day event on Saturday, February 27, 2026. Students will check in that morning, rehearse through the day, have a dress rehearsal and performance that evening. It’s a full day packed with music, new friends, and opportunities to grow! They will be expected to come with their music learned.
How do singers join?
Elementary students do NOT need to audition for the Honor Choir. Students are recommended by
you, their teacher, to participate. Choir directors should register their top 6-8 students but
can recommend fewer students as well. We suggest choosing your students and then contacting
families to see if they accept the invitation to participate. Then you can go online and officially
recommend them to participate.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $85. This is due at registration. You can pay by Purchase Order and we’ll send you an invoice, or you can pay by credit card (preferred).
What do I (the director) need to do?
This is an amazing opportunity for you and your singers! Here’s what you need to do:
- Identify 6 to 8 singers from your organization to register. Reach out to their families and see if they accept the invitation.
- Send this Registration Packet to the families and collect it from them.
- Return to this URL and register your singers; scroll down to register them online. Singer online Registrations are due December 1, 2025.
- Follow up with singers/parents to make sure they’re practicing at home.
- Each school that is sending students must provide a minimum of 1 chaperone to be present throughout the day to help be responsible for your group of students. This chaperone should bring the printed and signed Registration Packets to registration at 7:30am on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Directors can submit all singers on one submission, OR submit this form multiple times for different singers. Directors who represent multiple organizations should submit a unique form for each organization. Please do not register the same singer multiple times. Please view either of these lists if you can’t remember who you’ve registered.
