With over two decades of experience in music education at the middle school level, I have dedicated my career to nurturing young musicians and fostering a love for music. Throughout my 21 years of teaching at the middle level, I have had the privilege of mentoring numerous first-year teachers, guiding them through their initial steps in the profession.
My passion for music extends beyond the classroom, as I have directed various Honor groups and managed prestigious events such as All State and Solo Ensemble. Recently, I was honored to receive the Conductor of the Year award, a testament to my commitment and excellence in music education.
I hold a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have developed both the general music and choral curricula for my current school district. Currently, I work in the West Ada School District, where I continue to inspire and educate young minds.
As an active member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and the Idaho Music Educators Association (IMEA), I continuously seek to grow professionally and contribute to the music education community. My colleagues and students know me as a trusted friend and dedicated mentor, always ready to support and inspire.
