Auditions For Critical Mass Vocal Artists Announced
As members of the Resident Company, you have the opportunity to seek out additional performance opportunities with Critical Mass Vocal Artists (CMVA) directed by Dr. C. Michael Porter. Some of you are singing with CMVA already. Since Dr. Porter has not had the opportunity to hear many of you and due to the unique nature of the audition requirement, auditions for current Resident Company members to join CMVA will be held at the Opera Idaho Studio on:
Saturday, July 28, 2018, 2pm-5pm
Critical Mass Vocal Artists (CMVA) is an Opera Idaho-supported choral ensemble that produces excellent choral music focusing on contemporary octavo literature of a high caliber along with educational outreach. The rehearsal periods are typically much shorter than most choirs and more intensive. Singers will be paid beginning in September, much like participating in an opera chorus.
