To enter evaluation scores, you must have a login to this site and be logged in. Please contact webmaster@idacda.org (or text two zero eight four zero seven four five two five) with login issues.

2 Listen to the audition

To listen to a singer’s audition, click/tap PLAY on the audio players below. Please listen through the entire track, even if the opening several seconds are silent. Whatever you hear (or don’t hear) is what was provided to us; we only have what was submitted. Missing files or poor recording quality are the fault of the submitter.

3 Evaluate the audition

To enter scores, please click the “Enable Inline Edit” link above the top right corner of the table. You must be logged in to see this link. Once you’ve listened to the audition, please click the “Empty” text in each of the columns to rate the audition. There are six parts to the audition: a 2-octave scale, 4 intervals, and a song:

• Scale (0-10). On a scale of 1-10, please rate tonal quality AND accuracy of pitch on the notes WITHIN the singer’s range: 10 = superlative; 5 = average; 0 = cannot recommend.
• Major Triad, Minor Triad, Tri-Tone, and 1-8-7 intervals (0-3). Did the singer sing all three notes accurately? 3 = all three notes accurate; 2 = two of three notes accurate; 1 = one of three notes accurate; 0 = none of the notes were accurately sung.
• Song (0-10). Did the singer sing with age-appropriate pitch accuracy and tonal quality? 10 = superlative; 5 = average; 0 = cannot recommend for choir.

Please note: the SCORE column will be calculated and populated when you REFRESH the screen.

4 Recommend the singer

Once the singers have been evaluated, you can recommend the singer as a finalist by selected an ensemble from the FINALIST column. Singers with the highest scores in each voice part should be recommended as finalists.
